"Run this City" became a hit on MTV U and had radio play in Fall 2007-2009. The Jet Lag Gemini members play interns that rebel against work when their music takes over the office. The production design highlights include creating an empty room into an office with furniture, dated office equipment, graphics, a hurricane of blowing shredded paper, and custom-made paper instruments. Most recently, the MTV show, "Paris Hilton's New BFF" (Season 2), promoted the music video with a link to view the song on the MTV site.
Paper instruments were created to resemble the band's real instrument. In a rebellious moment, they destroy the instruments
The original location was an empty room. All elements were brought in to fill the location.
The visual world of the office is turned into a party once the workers hear the Jet Lag Gemini music set them free.
